My sincere condolences to Barbara and the whole family. It has been many years since I sat in Stan's Sunday School classes (and what a great teacher). God has received several of his "senior" saints to be home with Him in the last few months. Stan is truly at home now.

I wish to send my heartfelt condolences to Barbara Davie and her family at the loss of their dearly beloved 'Stan". I remember many years of working with him at VC and in his service at the credit union. I was sometimes the brunt of his bantering, but I always knew that he cared for me as a brother in Christ. May our Lord Jesus, through the gift of His Holy Spirit, comfort you during this time of loss.Phil Shafer

Shared many hours with Stan at Principal Council meetings where dept. chairs worked to better the school as well as many hours working with him at the Credit Union where he provided me with all of the help to make my job as Supervisory Chair easy. He always had time to explain what I needed in order to make a complete report.
I was lucky to have taught some of his children and through them got to know Stan even better. He had a great time teaching and many who passed his way are the better for it.

Stan helped me out in so many ways in his capacity as Social Studies Chairman and leader of the credit union and did so quietly and privately. I’m sure I’m just one of many thousands of people who were helped by Stan not to mention of course his lovely family and generations of students who were blessed by his role in their lives.
With Stan’s passing, we lost a giant who made the world a better place for so so many.
He was a good and faithful servant.
God bless Stan.
